Our casting instruction is certified by the Federation of Fly Fishers. We also offer educational fly fishing courses
in entomology, fly casting, limnology, and fish biology.
Our
instructors are qualified with Post Secondary Education in Biology
and technical courses in limnology, aquatic invertebrate identification,
wildlife identification, and fish identification.
This course will be offered in 2009 through the Squamish Recreation Program. Click here to read more about it on page 16 of the 2009 Program. This is an introductory course in fly casting. It is intended for those who have relatively
no experience in fly casting and would
like to learn the basics. The sessions will
focus on the physics on fly casting with
demonstrations, skills training and casting
analysis.
The 2009 Course Dates:
April 23, 30, May 7, May 14th starting at 6pm and run for 1-1.5 hours
Classes are limited to 6 people
Cost: $160 per person

Our FFF certified fly casting instructors
will teach you the basics of fly casting on dry land and then
move to the water.
A valid BC fishing licence is required for on-the-water sessions. Classes are by demand
so please contact us for the next session.
If you are a more experienced fly caster, then our instructors
will work on distance and accuracy. Cost is $45 per person + GST
for a private lesson with discounts available when in groups of 3 or
more. Our lessons are one hour long and are limited to 4 students.
